Open outlet connecting system

When discharging FIBCS product dust must be prevented from entering the environment. Neither excessive pressure nor negative pressure should result. A good outlet connecting system should fulfil the following criteria:

  1. It must clamp the FIBC securely and tightly
  2. The product flow must compensate for any excessive pressure
  3. Product suction should be prevented

Our outlet connecting system including dedusting and evacuation is designed in the form of a double ring system.

Tensioning outlet
Connecting the FIBC Outlet

The FIBC outlet is connected free of dust before being opened. The outlet is pulled over the inner ring and clamped and sealed by pressing down the two handles.

Dedusting during Discharge

During the discharge the double-ring system enables the air displaced by the product flow to be sucked out. This effectively prevents excessive pressure.

To prevent dust from being emitted, the suction point is located far up the outer ring, whereas the inner ring leads further down.

By supplying fresh air negative pressure is effectively prevented.

Evacuation of the FIBC after the discharge
Evacuating the FIBC after Discharge

To prevent dust coming out of the empty FIBC while folding it, it should be evacuated and tied up before it is uncoupled. To evacuate the bag, the fresh air flap is manually closed by way of a handle. Negative pressure is created in the system. The remaining dusty air is sucked out of the FIBC.

Contamination-free outlet connecting system
Protective film system

Protective film systems prevent contamination when changing casks. This enables CMR materials to be handled without the need for protective clothing and equipment. The tube carrying the product is always closed and the container is also securely closed with protective film before the container is undocked. The product never comes into contact with the environment
