Chemicals

In the chemical sector, the requirements for process equipment have considerably increased in the last years. To some extent, the applied substances are extremely valuable in their high concentration but may be also very hazardous for the operator.
The REACH regulation as well as the increasing demands in terms of product- and operator protection are a decisive aspect for the growing needs of Containment equipment. In order to protect the operator from consequential damage, the threshold values of the substances in use need to be strictly adhered to.
A robustness against aggressive chemical substances, a high system availability and the guarantee of large output capacity are the most specific and important requirements within the chemical industry. Those dependably comply with all our systems and components. We have been in close contact with our customers in the chemical sector for many years and are glad to consult you to define your specific tasks, work with you on your process demands and realize your projects.

1: Lifting Devices

Lifting devices mounted to a runway path via chain hoists are standard lifting devices for the transportation of FIBCs for industrial-, chemical and food applications.

2: Frames

Frames can be classified in three different versions:

  • Table Frames: Tables are small and space-saving stand-alone units for fastening different connection systems and an FIBC support. See also <link http: www.hecht-anlagenbau.de en products discharging fibc-discharging support-tables>Support Tables
  • Gantry Frames: Cantilever or gantry frames are self-sufficient stations for fastening different connection systems and an FIBC support. They consist of a frame and an integrated runway girder with chain hoist and loading gear.
  • Modular Frames: Modular frames are self-sufficient and flexibly usable stations for sporadic discharging of FIBCs. They consist of a frame, a pneumatic height adjustment for FIBCs and the respective outlet tensioning device for the connection system. Normally, a foklift is used as the lifting device in order to mount the FIBC in the modular frame.

3: Connection Systems

Connection systems are the core component for a safe FIBC discharging process. Depending on the product, operating location and Containment requirement, HECHT has developed different systems.

4: Suction Shoe

Suction shoes act as loading stations for a pneumatic conveyer. They can be connected to a mixer, centrifuges, sack- or FIBC-discharging stations using the connection flange.

5: Containment Drum Discharger CFE-K

The HECHT Containment Drum Discharger CFE-K with tipper device is used for low-contamination discharging of drums with inner liner up to OEB5. By means of the tipper, drum can be easily mounted to the station.
The products supplied in drums are additionally packed in foils, also referred to as liners, to ensure operator- and product protection. The product has to be packed in at least one liner unit.

6: ProClean Conveyor PCC

With the ProClean Conveyor (PCC) HECHT developed an extremely flexible and reliable conveying system. The pneumatic device is the ideal connection of different machinery such as granulators, dryers, blenders, grinders and centrifuges. It is especially suitable for discharging of bulk solids into different containers like drums, FIBCs or sacks within your inhouse process. The PCC ensures high conveying capacities for long conveying distances and guarantees a safe conveying of explosive or toxic substances. In addition, a dust- and contamination free environment is ensured.
The special design with its innovative filter head comes with numerous further advantages.

7: Filling Head LBK

The HECHT Liner Filling Head LBK enables a dust-free High Containment Filling (up to OEL≤ 1 μg/m³) of any kinds of bins with or without inliners.
It guarantees operator-, environment- and product protection from hazardous contaminations.
The usage of protective foils (liners) even during container- or bin exchange enables a high Containment. The LBK was especially designed for the handling of extremely toxic products and for demanding applications in the food-, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, for example to avoid cross-contamination.

8: Filling Station BG Basic

The BG-Basic Filling Station is a cost-efficient solution consisting of a robust tabular  steel construction either made of square pipes or a round tube frame construction.
Due to its space saving design, the BG basic can easily be integrated into an existing production environment.

9: Safety Table SAT-W

HECHT's Safety Support Table with Massaging System SAT-W  is an innovative FIBC support to optimize the discharging process. It is especially suitable for poor-flowing or bridging products.
The FIBC support is permanently mounted to the frame or available as stand-alone version. The support table acts as a safeguard for the FIBC support and improves the flow properties.

10: Liner Connection System LAS

HECHT's Liner Connection System LAS enables a dust-free, high-Containment discharging (up to OEL≤ 1 μg/m³) of different kinds of bins with inliners.
It guarantees operator protection, environmental- and product protection and avoids contamination and impurities from the outside. With the usage of protective liners, a high Containment is possible, especially during the bin change. The LAS is used  in particular when handling very hazerdous prodcucts and for demanding applications in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries mainly to avoid cross-contamination.

11: Small Bin Filling Stations

Bin Filling Stations normally consist of various components.
Heart of every system is the filling head. Depending on the application, a filling head for individual filling of single sacks or liners can be integrated or a filling head with continuous liner can be connected.
Further components for optional integration are loading cells, a dosing function, sampling systems as well as supporting frames or roller tracks.
Feeding of the systems is performed via downpipes or by a pneumatic conveyor like the HECHT PCC.
